SKID ROW EN LIMA!!! 7 Y 8 DE SEPTIEMBRE 2009

Skid Row nacio en 1986 en New Jersey, fundado por Snake Sabo y Rachel Bolan fueron descubiertos por Bon Jovi y la banda se convirtio en el prototipo del Hard Rock de los 90. Su album debut vendio mas de 5 millones de copias solo en los Estados Unidos, con exiitos como "18 and Life" y "I Remember You"

En 1992 se lanza el segundo album titulado SLAVE TO THE GRIND que debuta #1 en el Billboard. En la historia de la industria de la musica fueron los primeros Metal/Hard Rock band en llegar al estatus de multi-platinum. A esto le siguio uno de los tours mundiales mas grandes que duro mas de 2 anos fruto de cual las relaciones entre algunos miembros de la banda se vieron afectadas, sin embargo entran nuevamente al estudio y graban SUBHUMAN RACE y al poco tiempo la banda desaparece.

Eso hasta finales de 1999 cuando los miembros fundadores Rachel Bolan, Scotti Hill y Snake Sabo deciden reformar a la banda con un nuevo cantante Johnny Solinger y un nuevo baterista Dave Gara para embarcarse en un tour de 350 shows junto con KISS en su Farewell Tour mundial, mas tarde la banda entra al estudio para grabar THICKSKIN que salio a la venta en el 2003. El ultimo album de la banda REVOLUTIONS PER MINUTE fue lanzado al mercado el 24 de Octobre del 2006.

En adelante Skid Row nunca dejo de recorrer el mundo llegando a Sudamerica la primera y segunda semana de Setiembre en un tour que comprende Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador y Peru donde tocara el Lunes 7 de Setiembre un show Acustico en el Bar Oceanus del Hotel Los Delfines y el Martes 8 de Setiembre un full show electrico en la Discoteca Voce de Lince.

SUPER CONCIERTO DE TERRY ILOUS Y DIZZY REED!!!

FUE UN CONCIERTAZO!!!!!!!!!! aunque tuve que irme a la mitad del concierto de DIZZY por motivos ajenos a mi... (aish!!) fue un conciertazo de principio a fin!!
Comenzando por el gran TERRY de XYZ!! QVOZ!!!!!! estuvo increible!!!! un dia antes yo habia visto el ensayo por web cam gracias a un amigazo mio (gracias Alexis!!) y estuvo increible... no me esperaba menos para el dia de ayer 13 de NOV. Aqui unas fotitos del gran conciertazo de ambas bandas!!! =)

El concierto de Terry tuvo canciones de ambos discos de XYZ: XYZ Y HUNGRY!!! discazos recomendadazos!!! tocaron: WHEN I FIND LOVE (VERSION EN TECLADO Y VOZ), MAGGY, COME ON AND LOVE ME, WHAT KEEPS ME LOVING U (BALADON!!!), DONT SAY NO.. ENTRE OTROS TEMAZOS DE XYZ! =) terminaron con HIGHWAY TO HELL DE AC DC... =)

Lo de Dizzy, toco: PARADISE CITY, SWEET CHILD O'MINE, IT'S SO EASY, DONT CRY... entre otras... =) EXCELENTISIMO EL CONCIERTO! ESPEREMOS QUE SE REPITAN MAS ESPECTACULOS HARD ROCKEROS Y METAL DE ESTE TIPO! GRACIAS A 5 PRODUCCIONES POR HACER POSIBLE ESTOS GRANDES CONCIERTOS =)!!MAS FOTOS DE LA GENTE EN EL CONCIERTAZOOO....

INTERVIEW WITH JOEY ZALLA FROM ITALY'S JOLLY ROX!

Hey todos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahora si regrese con una nueva entrevista! Hace poco tuve una super conversacion con Joey Zalla de Jolly Rox, el cantante y fundador de la banda italiana que radica en Firenze. En realidad casi siempre hablo con el de un tiempo a esta a parte, pero recien pude mandarle un mini cuestionario para poder postearlo aqui. Hablamos de como escribio las canciones, como fue el proyecto de la banda en un inicio..y bueno la verdad creo que deberian bajarse "For You" la balada del album " Evil Inside " el ultimo lanzado por los italianos, es una cancion muy feeling...

Bueno, lo pondre de una vez para que puedan leerlo, disculpen que lo ponga siempre en el idioma original en el que se dio, es decir Ingles, pero me parece mas interesante leerlo de esa forma =)...

ALIX: Hi Joey!!!
i have been listening to Jolly Rox's cd and i gotta tell u it got me since the very beginning of every single song. U guys did a great job! my absolutely favorite is FOR YOU.
How come u get the enough inspiration to make such incredible songs?

JOEY: Hi Alix
Thank you very much for your comments about our CD!!
I wrote FOR YOU when I was just 19. I started to listen to rock and roll through ballads. This type of song used to move me emotionally very
much so I tried to compose my own ballads which might in turn move other people. I hope that I was successful in doing so!

ALIX:Could you tell us a little bit about the Italian music scene nowadays, speaking about hard rock music?

JOEY:The situation in Italy is very sad!! The rock and roll bands are estranged from the music circuit. We hope to have some success in foreign lands....so thanks for the interview...hoping your people like us.

ALIX:Could you recommend us some new hard rock bands from Italy beside Jolly Rox of course?

JOEY:As for rock bands in Italy I can mention some of my favorites which are also friends: try listening to The Clericals, Revel, Junkie Dildos and Rockin' Brides.

ALIX:You guys are the first hard rock italian band i've ever heard, i really liked ur style a lot!
please tell me how did u guys get together and started making music?

JOEY:Jolly Rox has changed in the course of time...I am the only member left of the original band. The name "Jolly Roxs" was a funny idea of mine. It's a parody of Jolly Rogers the historic symbol for pirates. All I can say is that this project was my creation. Surely I'm very lucky to have found Brian and J.K..

ALIX:The first time i got to play the cd u guys sent me, people who listened to the songs really liked ur style,it reminds me sometimes of the 80's hard rocking sound. Which bands are ur main influences?

JOEY:I think my music sounds like the Glam rock of the 80's much like Poison, Motley Crue and Guns and Roses even though I listen and am inspired by many differente musical styles. Have you ever seen the movie Trick or Treat? I'd like to be like Sammi Carr...LOL

ALIX:hahahaha xD! of course i've seen it!! no many people know that movie! it fuckin' rocks! 80's movies rock!....Anyway....where are u playing next, and what's coming for Jolly Rox?

JOEY:I willing be playing many dates in northern Italy come September and we're working on an American tour with ...we'll talk again for details.
